There are many restaurants serving steamboat in the city of Johor Bahru. Last week, I was left feeling a steamboat on the edge of Dataran Bandaraya (City Square) provided in public areas. There are many stalls selling this food and dining area is open. I can enjoy the dish with a very comfortable condition to enjoy the sea breeze wind blowing at night.

This week, I want to enjoy steamboat dishes at other places. I got information about the yummy steamboat restaurant in Taman Pelangi near Laisure Mall. Let's survey how things in the restaurant 'Swamp' are. Wow… For only RM20, I can make my stomach full. I really enjoy the buffet that is not so crowded and easy to pick. You can pick whatever you want with a plate provided.

Load your plate up with your favorite choice of frozen food and vegetables, uncooked meats, fish and shrimp (attempt at balancing out all that meat, with some vegetable). I like the look of the Dimsum dish (one of my favorite ) so I pick it more and then I pick an instant noodle (you have to put it inside hot soup to make it soft).

This restaurant provides a life prawns also and I'm sure it's so sweet. At the table, they will provide us with one cook set with a pot that contains two different soup, Tom Yam and chicken soup (you can choose to have one soup also). Very exciting experience for cooking by myself. I dump half of the chosen foods into the boiling pot of chicken soup and tom yam. At the side of the pot, there is a space for you to grill the rest of the food and for sure I will grill my shrimp and meat there.

After a few minutes (10 to 15 minutes) the food are ready to eat. You can taste the tasty rich ingredient inside your mouth. The fish and meat ball also very tasty and different with the fish and meat ball I ever taste before with remarkable flavor. Finally, they have a lot of tasty i ce cream for the desserts , such as cempedak, durian, cendol, corn, and red bean flavor .

Rawa Steamboat Restaurant will bring you the best experience of a steamboat buffet. The different types of dish/ingredients will make your eyes blown up and feel to grab everything that I want. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friend. You also better try this dish if you are around Johor Bahru and you will not regret if you are the 'Steamboat' fan.
