“This week, I will bring

by Mee Racun 3G.
On the way back from Muar, I was again looking for
special food along the way. I search in the website and finally found one place
selling ‘Mee Racun‘ (Poison Noodle) located at Batu Pahat. I should stop by at
this restaurant indeed to find out what is very poison about this dish.

From
the name given for this dish is sound awesome. In Batu Pahat alone, there are
three locations for you to enjoy ‘Mee Racun’ that is in the Food Court Jalan
Sultanah, Taman Seri Jaya and Jalan Timah Sari. Let's review the Poisons Noodle
at Jalan Timah Hitam, located near Tabung Haji Building (Jalan Timah Sari).
The restaurant is named ‘Mee Racun 3G’. The location is
very strategic because it is close to main roads. It has been operating since
40 years ago. The area inside this restaurant is not very big and there was
only a few dining table there, the owner put the table outside the restaurant
in the car parking area (open space). It’s quite easy to park your vehicle
because it has a lot of parking lot available along the shoulder of the road. It
seems that I’m very lucky this time to taste this kind of dish because this
restaurant had entered much television shows such as Asian Food Chanel (AFC),
TV3 Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan, TV3 Breakfast and RTM National News.
The special dish at this restaurant is ‘Mee Racun’
(Poison Noodle). There are a lot of customers and a bit crowded in the
restaurant and sometimes they have to wait for their turn. I was lucky because
I got a sit upon arrival. There are two types of ‘Mee Racun’ that is ‘Ordinary
Mee Racun’ and ‘Special Mee Racun’. The difference is ‘Special Mee Racun’ have
mix together with lamb or ox bones (Gearbox) excellent. I order a ‘Special Mee
Racun’ with ‘Teh Tarik’ for my dinner before continuing my journey back to
Johor Bahru.
This dish looks really good and delicious with a reddish
broth, taste and very appetizing. Apart from that, there are also other dishes
like Noodle Soup, Noodle Soup Bones, Kue Teow Soup, Kuew Teow Bone Soup, Regular
Bone Soup and many others. The prices are also very reasonable with a price of
RM10 for Special Mee Racun and RM5 for Regular Mee Racun. For fans of Gearbox
can come to Batu Pahat to taste this delicious Special Mee Racun and you will
not regret.
